The Miss Universe 1968 coronation night will be held at the Miami Beach Auditorium in Miami Beach, Florida, United States on July 13, 1968. It is the 17th edition of the international beauty pageant founded by Catalina Swimwear manufacturer Pacific Knitting Mills, which is based in California, USA.

Bob Barker, 44, will host the ceremony, which will be aired on CBS and WTVJ. Congo-Kinshasa, Malta and Yugoslavia are represented for the first time.
