Paul Steven Rodriguez of Willits, Mendocino County, California, United States has died. He turned 19 just days before his death.

On April 21, 1997, Rodriguez was driving his 1986 Mercury Cougar around Willits and went missing. He was last seen that day wearing a beige baseball cap with a Fila logo, a black shirt, black sweats, a silver ring with four diamonds, a black wallet attached to him with a chain and black tennis shoes.

The Willits teenager was 5’8″ tall and weighed 270 pounds. He was the boyfriend of Alissa Marie Moore, 17, of Willits, who was arrested after an informant turned Willits residents Carl Dulinsky, 19, and Troy Edward Driver, 17, on May 5, 1997.

At 10:15 a.m. on May 7, 1997, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office‘s Search and Rescue team members found Rodriguez buried in a shallow grave on a remote road in Mendocino County. His 1986 Mercury Cougar is still missing.

Shortly after midnight on April 22, 1997, Moore arranged to bring Rodriguez to a secluded area in Mendocino County while Dulinsky and Driver waited on Shaefer Ranch Road in Willits, Dulinsky told Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputies. After Rodriguez was fatally shot by Moore, Dulinsky and Driver helped her dumped the body at the side of a road.

Moore and Driver were being held at the Mendocino County Juvenile Hall in Ukiah, Mendocino County, California. Dulinsky remained without bail at the Mendocino County Jail in Ukiah.
