Based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, ABS-CBN Corporation owns and operates Star Music. Founded on February 20, 1995, the record label is a member of the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI).

Before becoming the Philippines’ second president, Manuel L. Quezon served as the acting mayor of Quezon City from October 12, 1939 to November 4, 1939. He died in Saranac Lake, New York, United States on August 1, 1944 at age 65.

Quezon City is around 31.7 kilometers away from Binangonan, Rizal, Philippines, the birthplace of Filipino rapper Aristotle Condenuevo Pollisco. He is professionally known as Gloc-9.

Gloc-9, Pollisco is married to Thea Gomez Pollisco. She graduated from the School of the Holy Spirit of Quezon City in Capitol Hills, Quezon City in 1995 and Mirriam College in Loyola Heights, Quezon City in 1999.

Since 2000, Gloc-9 has been a Star Music artist. On October 18, 2004, he turned 27.
