  2. She is Ben Zimmermann and Geraldine Zimmermann‘s granddaughter and Kimberly Heeg‘s niece.

  11. In 2007, she and Gonnering got engaged. While they were both attending the University of Wisconsin–Madison, they shared an apartment in Madison with her three cats.
  12. At around 11:30 a.m. on April 2, 2008, she waved goodbye to Gonnering, left the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus and walked home. At around 1:00 p.m., he returned from class and found her fatally stabbed inside their apartment in Madison. She died at the age of 21.
  13. She and Gonnering planned to get married in Hawaii, USA in 2009.
