David Ayer’s film ‘Street Kings’, Gary Valenciano’s album ‘Rebirth’ released

Universal Records Philippines released “Rebirth” on April 2, 2008. It is Gary Valenciano‘s most recent album under the label.

Produced by 3 Arts Entertainment and Regency Enterprises, “Street Kings” hit theaters in the United States on April 11, 2008. It is an action thriller film written by James Ellroy, Jamie Moss and Kurt Wimmer and directed by David Ayer.

Born in Champaign, Illinois, USA, Ayer turned 40 on January 18, 2008. He grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA and Bethesda, Maryland, USA and later moved to Los Angeles, California, USA, which inspired some of his films.

“Rebirth”

Vicente is Filipino while Olmo is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent. They met in New York City, New York, USA.

“Street Kings”

Amaury Nolasco was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico to Dominican parents. From Puerto Rico, he moved to New York City.

On December 24, 2007, Nolasco turned 37. In “Street Kings”, he plays a detective named Cosmo Santos.
