Distributed by Universal Pictures, “A Perfect Getaway” hit theaters in the United States on August 7, 2009. It is a thriller film written and directed by David Twohy.
Universal Records Philippines released “As 1” on August 29, 2009. It is a collaborative album of Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano.
“A Perfect Getaway”
Steve Zahan and Milla Jovovich play newlywed couple Cliff Anderson and Cydney Anderson in “A Perfect Getaway”. The couple travels to Hawaii, USA for their honeymoon.
In Hawaii, the couple encounters two more couple; Cleo and his wife Kale Garrity, played by Marley Shelton and Chris Hemsworth, respectively, a tourist named Nick Bennett, played by Timothy Olyphant, and Nick’s girlfriend Gina Stone, played by Kiele Sanchez. While they are all in Hawaii, a double homicide of an unidentified couple is reported.
Olyphant has been married to Alexis Knief since 1991. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he turned 41 on May 20, 2009.

On February 5, 2009, Nievera turned 46. On August 6, 2009, Valenciano turned 45.
Nievera’s father Bert Nievera was born in Baguio City, Philippines. Bert is one of the original members of the Society of Seven, a music group based in Hawaii.
There are 16 tracks in Martin and Valenciano’s recently released collaborative album. Only two of them are a duet featuring the two artists.
