Manzano was born to Edu Manzano and Santos in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. On April 21, 2009, Luis turned 28.
Luis plays a gay man named Mark Salvacion in “In My Life” while Santos plays the character’s mother Shirley Templo. Along in the Philippines, Shirley visits Mark in New York City, New York, United States.
Unbeknownst to Mark, Shirley plans to stay in New York City for good. Unbeknownst to her, he has a lover named Noel Villanueva, who is played by John Lloyd Cruz.
Tirso Cruz III plays Mark’s father and Shirley’s former husband and Dimples Romana and Paw Diaz play Mark’s sisters. Also in the cast are Aaron Junatas, Arnold Reyes, Cacai Bautista, Cha-Cha Cañete, Janice Y.
