Ngô Tiến Đoàn represented Vietnam at Mister International 2008 and competed against 29 other candidates in Taichung, Taiwan on November 24, 2008. He won the title.
Runner-up to Ngo was Mohamad Chamseddine of Lebanon. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Zhang Lun Shuo of China, Mihovil Barun of Croatia and Vincent Cleuren of the Netherlands.
Wissam Hanna of Lebanon won Mister International 2006 at The Pavillion in Kallang, Singapore on October 7, 2006. Alan Bianco Martini Malgioglio of Brazil won Mister International 2007 at the Sarawak Chamber Ballroom in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia on December 31, 2007.
