Ivan Reitman was born in Komárno, Slovakia to Hungarian Jewish parents Ladislav “Leslie” Reitman and Klara Raab Reitman. They arrived in Canada as refugees in 1950.

In 1969, Ivan graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada with a bachelor’s degree in music. He has been married to Geneviève Robert since 1976 and he turned 64 on October 27, 2010.

Directed by Reitman, “No Strings Attached” stars Ashton Kutcher, Cary Elwes, Kevin Kline and Natalie Portman. The screenplay was written by Elizabeth Hughes Meriwether.

Based in Beverly Hills, California, Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to the film on February 15, 2011. The album has 13 songs including “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis, who was born in Islington, London, England, United Kingdom.
