Himangini Singh Yadu of India won Miss Asia Pacific World 2012 at the Grand Walkerhill in Gwangjin, Seoul, South Korea on June 16, 2012. On October 30, 2013, she crowned her successor Srishti Rana of India at the Light Floor of Hallyu World in Seoul.

On October 15, 2011, Lawrence Choi of Elite Asia Pacific Company founded Miss Asia Pacific World. The first edition was held in Busan, South Korea.
