Slovenia’s Patricia Peklar crowned Miss Eco Queen 2015 in Alexandria, Egypt

Patricia Peklar is a model and a beauty queen from Ljubljana, Slovenia. On June 4, 2014, she turned 25.

On November 29, 2014, Peklar represented Slovenia in the 14th edition of Miss Earth at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She competed against 83 other candidates including Jamie Herrell of the Philippines, who won the title.

Also crowned were Miss Earth-Air 2014 Andrea Neu of the United States, Miss Earth-Water 2014 Maria Rodriguez of Venezuela and Miss Earth-Fire 2014 Anastasia Trusova of Russia. On the other hand, Peklar was unplaced.

On April 5, 2015, Peklar represented Slovenia in the inaugural edition of Miss Eco Queen. She competed against eight other candidates and won the title.

Miss Eco Queen is an international beauty pageant based in Egypt. It was formed by Dr. Amal Rezk in collaboration with Let’s Take Care of the Planet (LTCP), a United Nations’ project launched in Brazil in response to the United Nations’ Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
