30 Mister Global 2016 candidates competing in Chiang Mai

Nguyen Van Son represented Vietnam at Mister Global 2016 and competed against 20 other candidates at the Nakarin Space in Bangkok, Thailand on March 7, 2015. He won the title.

Runner-up to Nguyen was Yuber Jimenez of Venezuela. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Apiwit Kunadireck of Thailand, Diogo Bernardes of Brazil and Bryan Weber of France.

Mister Global 2016 contestants

On May 6, 2016, Nguyen will crown his successor at the CentralPlaza Chiang Mai Airport in Haiya, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is the third edition of the international beauty pageant founded by Pradit Pradinunt.

Miss World Philippines 2012 third princess April Love Jordan will host the coronation ceremony with Annop Kittikul of Bangkok, Thailand. The latter is an alumnus of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

Mister Global 2014 winners

Myat Thuya Lwin of Myanmar won Mister Global 2014 at The Secret Cliff Hotel in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on March 27, 2014. A total of 16 candidates competed for the title.

Runner-up to Myat was Michael South of Canada. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Lee Jun-ho of South Korea, Nguyen Huu Vi of Vietnam and Wilfred Placencia Jr. of the Philippines.
