Tomáš Martinka represented the Czech Republic at Mister Global 2016 and competed against 29 other candidates at the CentralPlaza Chiang Mai Airport in Haiya, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand on May 6, 2016. He won the title.
Runner-up to Martinka was Tawatchai Jaikhan of Thailand. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Chema Malavia of Spain, Giba Pignatti of Brazil and Noel Ng of Singapore.

Mister Global 2017 contestants
Mister Global was founded by Pradit Pradinunt in 2014. The title was won by Myat Thuya Lwin of Myanmar at The Secret Cliff Hotel in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on March 27, 2014 and Nguyen Van Son of Vietnam at the Nakarin Space in Bangkok, Thailand on March 7, 2015.
On May 20, 2017, Martinka will crown his successor at the Chiang Mai Hall in Chiang Mai. It is the fourth edition of the international beauty pageant based in Thailand.
Annop Kittikul, Benz Athinan and Givefy Titima will host the coronation ceremony. This marks the Mister Global debut of Bangladesh, England, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Africa, Sweden and Tajikistan.
