Eminem comes out hairy, gets approval from almost 1 million fans

Eminem is known for his controversial lyrics but in terms of his physical appearance, the Detroit rapper always looked clean-shaven. This is why his fans were surprised when he recently shared a photo of himself with facial fair.

“Just a couple of guys from Compton and one from Detroit,” Eminem wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo he posted. “With a beard.”

In the photo, the Detroit rapper puts his arms around Compton rappers Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar. Three days after the photo was posted, almost 1 million fans showed their approval by giving it a thumbs-up.

The photo was taken when Eminem attended the premiere of the HBO documentary series “The Defiant Ones” on June 22. The series is about Dr. Dre’s friendship and music partnership with Jimmy Iovine.

Along with Snoop Dogg, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty, Eminem was one of the artists featured in the “The Defiant Ones.” The premiere of the series at Los Angeles’ Paramount Studios was also attended by Trent Reznor, Pharrell Williams, Puff Daddy and Jared Leto, Variety reported.

On June 24, Saturday, another photo of Eminem with his facial hair was posted on Instagram. It was a black-and-white photo of the “Rap God” rapper and Georgia rapper Tauheed Epps, who is professionally known as 2 Chainz, taken in Malibu, according to XXL Mag.

Rap music fans have been waiting for Eminem to release his ninth studio album since 2013. The recent Instagram photos of the Detroit rapper made fans expect that Dr. Dre, Lamar and 2 Chainz will be featured as collaborators in his upcoming album.
