Brazilian-American model and designer Camila Alves was in Los Angeles on June 23, Friday. She attended the Bella Los Angeles Summer Issue Cover Launch Party.

Alves will grace the cover of the summer issue of Bella Magazine, which will hit stands on June 26, Monday. During the launch party, she wore a Thai Nguyen Atelier dress.

The black dress Alves wore made her look regal and she appeared on the red carpet looking like a Bollywood superstar. Those who are interested in her outfit have more to choose to from on the Thai Nguyen Atelier website.

Born and raised in Brazil, Alves moved to Los Angeles when she was 15. She worked as house cleaner and a waitress before becoming a fashion model in New York.

Aside from modelling, Alves also hosted “Shear Genius” Season 3 on Bravo in 2010. Currently, she is one of the hosts of “Kids BBQ Championship” on Food Network.

In 2007, Alves met Matthew McConaughey. They got engaged in 2011, married in 2012 and went on to have three children.

The last film McConaughey starred in was “Gold,” which was released on Jan. 27. Directed by Stephen Gaghan, the drama thriller film also starred Edgar Ramirez, Bryce Dallas Howard, Craig T. Nelson, Corey Stoll and Toby Kebbell.

Among McConaughey’s upcoming films are “The Beach Bum,” “Serenity” and “The Dark Tower.” In 2018, he will star in “White Boy Rick” with Jennifer Jason Leigh, RJ Cyler, Piper Laurie, Bel Powley, Bruce Dern, Rory Cochrane, Brian Tyree Henry and Brad Carter.
