Zendaya was at The Whitby Hotel in New York City, New York, United States on June 25, 2017 for a photocall for “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” in which she plays a high-school student named Michelle. During the event, she wore a dress from a luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand launched in 2008 in New York.
For the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” photocall, Zendaya wore an Altuzarra dress. The brand is known for its goal to embody the quintessential modern woman like the actress.
Also present during the photocall were Zendaya’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” co-stars Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revoloru, Marisa Tomei and Laura Harrier. Director Jon Watts joined the actors, as well.
Days before the photocall, Zendaya talked about her “Spider-Man: Homecoming” character in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. She said Michelle is a very intellectual girl who has “an edge to her” and someone who speaks her mind, which for some reason comes off likable.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” will hit theaters on July 7, 2017. Also in the cast are Kenneth Choi, Martin Starr, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover, Bokeem Woodbine, Abraham Attah, Hannibal Buress, J.J.
