It was a successful URCC comeback for Striegl as he had not fought under the promotion for more than five years before his fight against Benibe. On April 28, 2012, Striegl fought his second URCC fight at “URCC 21: Warpath” in Pasay City. Like Pitpitunge, Alcer Locada lost to Striegl via rear-naked choke submission.

Following his successful professional MMA debut, Striegl fought in Luxy Contemporary Nightlife Complex, a nightclub in Taipei, Taiwan. He defeated South Korean fighter Bae Yong Kwon via unanimous decision at “PRO Fighting 4: 180.”
