Did Lee Min Ho and Suzy get married before Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo?

The upcoming wedding of “Descendants of the Sun” stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo is considered the biggest celebrity wedding in South Korea in 2017. However, fans are speculating that Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy, mononymously known as Suzy, have secretly married even before the former entered the military service.

The speculations started when Suzy continuously posted Instagram photos of herself wearing a ring on her finger. On August 10, 2017, the K-pop girl group miss A member and actress posted on Instagram a photo of herself wearing a ring while holding a champagne glass.

Suzy has yet to either deny or confirm the rumors. Whether or not she is keeping it mysterious to help create a buzz for her upcoming drama series “While You Were Sleeping” is unknown.

“While You Were Sleeping” will premiere on September 27, 2017 on SBS. In the series, Suzy will play Nam Hong Joo, a former journalist who is now unemployed. The character used to be a fan of rookie prosecutor Jung Jae Chan, played by Lee Jong Suk.

Joining Suzy and Jae Chan in the cast of “While You Were Sleeping” are Lee Sang Yeob, Jung Hae In, Kim Min Jae, Park Jin Joo, Min Sung Wook, Shin Jae Ha, Ko Sung Hee, Kim Won Hae, Jang Hyun Sung and Um Hyo Sup. Lee Sung Kyung, Kim So Hyun, Choi Won Young, Yoon Kyun Sang and Nam Da Reum will also have special appearances.

Meanwhile, fans of Joong Ki and Hye Kyo have to wait before they see them again on the small screen. The “Descendants of the Sun” stars are set to get married on October 31, 2017, their agencies Blossom Entertainment and United Artists Agency (UAA) said in a joint statement obtained by Soompi.

Working with Hye Kyo in the future is something Joong Ki would have to give a little more thought to, MTV Asia quoted the latter as saying during a local conference for “The Battleship.” For Joong Ki, it would be challenging because working with his soon-to-be wife be on the same production may be a little tough.

Starring Joong Ki as a member of the Korean independence movement, “The Battleship Island” hit theaters on July 26. It also starred Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub and Lee Jung Hyun.
