Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was recently in Cancun, Mexico. She attended an event there along with several beauty queens including her successor, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere.

Nia Sanchez, Olivia Jordan and Kara McCullough, the Miss USA titleholders in 2014, 2015 and 2017, respectively, were also present during the event. On Aug. 28, Monday, Jordan took to Instagram to share a photo of herself, Mittenaere, Wurtzbach and Sanchez wearing bikinis.

“The best part of beauty is that which no picture can express,” Jordan captioned the photo. While Jordan, Wurtzbach and Sanchez’s bikinis in the photo have different shades of blue, Mittenaere is wearing bright yellow.

Wurtzbach and Jordan were roommates during the Miss Universe 2015 beauty pageant. While the Filipino queen won the title after the controversial mishap involving Steve Harvey and then Miss Colombia Ariana Gutierrez, Jordan placed second runner-up.

As Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2015, Wurtzbach was succeeded by Maria Maxine Medina, who only managed to land in the finals in Miss Universe 2016. Medina was succeeded by Rachel Peters.

As Miss France 2016, Mittenaere’s successor is Alicia Aylies. In Miss Universe 2017, McCullough, Peters and Aylies will compete against Mexico’s representative, Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2017 Denisse Franco.
