Representing Argentina, Physical Education teacher Leonardo Diaz Alincastro, 27, is one of the bachelors from around the world who will compete for the Mister World 2019 title. He is 5’111⁄2 ” tall.
Alincastro hails from San Salvador de Jujuy, Jujuy, Argentina. The city is home to Calulegua National Park, Termas de Reyes, Purmamarca, Museo de Juan Galo Lavalle, Quebrada de Humahuaca, Salinas Grandes, Monumento NaturalLaguna de Los Pozuelos, Tilcara, Plaza Belgrano and the Salon de la Bandera.
As a P.E. teacher, Alincastro specializes in high performance sports training. He is dedicated to motivating children in sports, which is an important part of his lifestyle.
One of the sports Alincastro enjoys is football. He is also a qualified lifeguard and first aider.
Aside from sports, the San Salvador de Jujuy native also loves music. He enjoys singing and playing the Bombo legüero, a traditional Argentinian drum.
In August 2017, Alincastro was runner-up to Mr. Mundo Argentina 2017 Thomas Lietti, succeeding Robertino Dalla Benetta, 27, of Rosario, Argentina. When Lietti became busy with his modelling career, national director Nadia Cerri, appointed Alincastro to compete in Mr. World 2019.
Benetta did not place in Mister World 2016, which was held in Southport, England on July 19, 2016. He was one of the winners in the 10 Tonne Challenge, one of the sports and extreme events.
Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, 29, of India will crown his successor during the Mr. World 2019 coronation night at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on August 23, 2019. It will be the 10th edition of the international male beauty pageant.
