Multiple-time Muay Thai world champion Valentina Shevchenko is set to challenge reigning UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at “UFC 215” on Sept. 9, Saturday, at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is a rematch between the two as Nunes defeated Shevchenko at “UFC 196” on March 5, 2016 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here are the “UFC 215” results:

PRELIMINARY CARD: UFC Fight Pass

  1. Kajan Johnson defeated Adriano Martins via knockout at 0:49 of Round 3.
  2. Arjan Bhullar defeated Luis Henrique vua unanimous decision.

PRELIMINARY CARD: Fox Sports 1

  1. Alex White defeated Mitch Clarke via technical knockout at 4:36 of Round 1.
  2. Rick Glenn defeated Gavin Tucker via unanimous decision.
  3. Sarah Moras defeated Ashlee Evans-Smith via armbar submission at 2:51 of Round 1.
  4. Ketlen Vieira defeated Sara McMann via arm-triangle choke submission at 4:16 of Round 2.

MAIN CARD

  1. Jeremy Stephens defeated Gilbert Melendez via unanimous decision.
  2. Ilir Latifi defeated Tyson Pedro via unanimous decision.
  3. Henry Cejudo defeated Wilson Reis via knockout at 0:46 of Round 2.
  4. Rafael dos Anjos defeated Neil Magny via arm-triangle choke submission at 3:43 of Round 1.

MAIN EVENT

11. Amanda Nunes defeated Valentina Shevchenko via split decision.

After beating Reis, Cejudo said he was coming for UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson’s belt. Johnson, who was in the audience, replied, “I’m waiting.”

Johnson and Ray Borg were originally expected to headline “UFC 215.” However, the latter was forced to withdraw from the fight on Sept. 7, Thursday, reportedly because he was battling an illness not related to his weight cut.
