While Lee Min Ho is in the military, his fans have something to support on the small screen. His girlfriend Bae Suzy, who is mononymously named Suzy, is set to star on the SBS series “While You Were Sleeping,” which will premiere on September 27, 2017.

On September 22, 2017, Suzy discussed “While You Were Sleeping” during a press conference at the SBS headquarters in Seoul. The upcoming SBS series is about the possibility to change the course of a person’s life and the consequences that come with it, Yonhap News quoted the K-pop girl group missA member as saying.

The story of “While You Were Sleeping” is about locking the stable door after the horse is stolen, Oh Chung Hwan added. The director previously produced “Doctors” and “My Love from the Star.”

Park Hae Ryeon wrote “While You Were Sleeping.” She previously wrote “Pinocchio” and “I Hear Your Voice.”

On “While You Were Sleeping,” Suzy plays a 29-year-old unemployed journalist who can see unfortunate events before they happen. The character used to be a fan of a 29-year-old rookie prosecutor named Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk).

Among Suzy and Jong Suk’s “While You Were Sleeping” co-stars are Lee Sang Yeob, Jung Hae In, Kim Min Jae, Park Jin Joo, Min Sung Wook and Ko Sung Hee. Kim So Hyun will also make a special appearance on the SBS series.

Meanwhile, Min Ho is one of the celebrities who are currently serving in the military. A total of 587 out of 794 male entertainers due for enlistment have yet to enlist, according to Rep. Kim Hack Yong of the main opposition Liberty Korea Party in a statement obtained by Korea Herald.

Like several other male celebrities, Min Ho enlisted in his late 20s. On June 22, 2017, he turned 30 while serving in the military.
