The Miss Earth 2017 coronation ceremony will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on November 4, 2017. It is the 85th edition of the international beauty pageant that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility.

Miss Earth is one of the six grand slam international beauty pageants for women. The others are Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International.

On October 29, 2016, Katherine Espin of Ecuador was crowned Miss Earth 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Also crowned her Miss Earth-Air 2016 Michelle Gomez of Colombia, Miss Earth-Water 2016 Stephanie de Zorzi of Venezuela and Miss Earth Fire 2016 Bruna Zanardo of Brazil, who later resigned and was replaced by Corrin Stellakis of the United States.
