Bollywood superstar Suniel Shetty, 56, is the Indian ambassador for Brave Combat Federation, a mixed martial arts promotion based in Muharraq, Bahrain. He is expected to be one of the VIP guests at “Brave CF 9: The Kingdom of Champions” on November 17, 2017 at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain.
While Shetty is not a combat sports athlete himself, he is also into sports. He is a cricket lover and is currently the captain of the Mumbai Heroes cricket team in the Celebrity cricket league.
As an actor, Shetty has appeared in more than 110 Bollywood films. He is known for his roles in action movies.
The most recent movie that featured Shetty is “A Gentleman: Sundar, Susheel, Risky,” which hit theaters on August 25, 2017. The Indian romantic comedy film also starred Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2006 Jacqueline Fernandez and Karan Johar’s “My Name is Khan” assistant director Sidharth Malhotra.
Shetty is married to Mana Shetty, the S2 Realty Developers Pvt. Lt.d director and R House Furnishing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Creative director. Their children Athiya Shetty and Ahan Shetty are both actors.
It has yet to be confirmed whether or not Suniel is watching “Brave CF 9: The Kingdom of Champions” live with Mana, Athiya and Ahan. The MMA event will be headlined by Alejandro Martínez of Mexico and Ottman Azaitar of Morocco.
Martinez and Azaitar will compete for the Lightweight championship title of Brave CF. Stephen Loman of the Philippines and Gurdarshan Gary Mangat will compete for the promotion’s Bantamweight championship.
