On Nov. 10, Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen made history as the first ever two-division champion of ONE Championship. After defeating Eduard “Landslide” Folayang, the Australian fighter of Vietnamese descent became the reigning Featherweight World Champion and Lightweight World Champion of the largest sports media property in Asia.
In the main event of “ONE: Legends of the World,” which took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines, Nguyen defeated Folayang via knockout via punch at 2:20 of Round 2 of 5. The referee was Olivier Coste.
