Miao Li Tao vs Sim Bunsrun at ‘ONE: Immortal Pursuit’ in Kallang, Singapore

Miao Li Tao, 24, was supposed to make her ONE Championship debut at “ONE Championship: Shanghai” on Sept. 2 but his match against Inner Mongolia native Liu Deli, 23, was cancelled. The former finally made his debut in the promotion at “ONE: Immortal Pursuit” on Nov. 24, Friday, at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

In Miao’s ONE Championship debut, he faced Cambodian Khun Khmer practitioner Sim Bunsrun, 25. Their match was the first among the 10 bouts at  “ONE: Immortal Pursuit,” which will be headlined by Ben “Funky” Askren and Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki.

Currently, Miao holds a record of 2 wins and 1 loss. Before losing to Dakui Gou at “Bullet Fly FC 6,” the Chinese bantamweight prospect defeated Mingbo Tao at “Bullet Fly FC 2” and Peng Li at “Bullet Fly FC 5.”

On the other hand, Sim holds a record of 3 wins and 4 losses. He made his ONE Championship debut on Dec. 5, 2015 at “ONE Championship: Kingdom of Khmer” where he defeated Khun Sichan via armbar submission at 4:55 of Round 1.

Sim’s most recent ONE Championship fight was at “ONE Championship: Total Victory” on Sept. 16. He lost to Stefer Rahardian via rear-naked choke submission at 1:07 of Round 1.

At “ONE: Immortal Pursuit,” Miao defeated Sim via technical knockout at 1:49 of Round 1. Here are some photos from their fight:
