Tiffany “Soul Crusher” Teo of Singapore and Pooja Tomar of India are two of the top female Asian MMA fighters today. On Nov. 24, Friday, the two faced each other at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore at “ONE: Immortal Pursuit.”
The match between Teo and Tomar was the second find in the main card of “ONE: Immortal Pursuit.” The former defeated the latter at 4:07 of Round 1 via armbar submission.
Teo and Tomar were not the only female fighters in the fight card of “ONE: Immortal Pursuit,” which was headlined by Ben “Funky” Askren of the United States and Shinya Aoki of Japan. There was also an atomweight bout between Mei Yamaguchi of Japan and Gina Iniong of the Philippines as well as a strawweight bout between May Ooi of Singapore and Vy Srey Khouch of Cambodia.
After “ONE: Immortal Pursuit,” Teo is still an undefeated fighter with 7 wins. Before facing Tomar, the Singaporean fighter defeated Nur Athirah Tatiana, Lumindas Liezel Merasol, Suranak Kamla, Walaa Abbas Mohamed Kamaly, Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol and Rebecca Heintzman.
On the other hand, Tomar now has 3 wins and 2 loss. “ONE: Immortal Pursuit” marked her ONE Championship debut.
Before joining ONE Championship, Tomar was a Super Fight League (SFL) fighter. Under SFL, she defeated Priyanka Kadam, Ishu Sood and Thulasi Helen but lost to Hannah Kampf.
