Patrik Sjöö represented Sweden at Manhunt International 2016 and competed against 42 other candidates at the OCT Harbour City in Shenzhen, China on October 29, 2016. He emerged as the winner.

Runner-up to Sjöö was Ba Te Er of Hong Kong. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Christopher Bramell of England, Maurício Eusébio of Angola and Ramon Pissaia of Brazil.

Manhunt International 2017 contestants

On November 27, 2017, Sjöö will crown his successor at the Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theatre in Bangkok, Thailand. It is the 18th edition of the international male modeling competition based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
