Russia’s Oleg Berlinskii: Mister Ocean 2017 was a great experience

Hosted by Taiwan, Mister Ocean 2017 is an inaugural male beauty pageant that brought together 49 men from around the world together on the same stage. For many of the contestants, it was the first international competition they have joined including Mister Russia Oleg Berlinskii.

Being one of the Mister Ocean 2017 candidates is something one will remember forever. In a statement obtained by CONAN Daily, Berlinskii said, “For me, this is a great experience and there are a lot of positive impressions.”

“All the guys are very friendly and cheerful,” Berlinskii added. “I was comfortable with everyone.”

Berlinskii had fun representing Russia at Mister Ocean 2017 despite not making it to the semifinals. Also represented at the beauty pageant were Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mongolia and the China, which all share land borders with Berlinskii’s home country from northwest to southeast.

Mister Belarus Seniuts Igor made it to the semi-finals. He also won the Best Body award with Mister Romania Geany-Daniel Zamfir and Mister Nigeria Ayoola Femi-Ogun Olatunde as the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Mister China Chen Li-Wei made it to the semi-finals but did not reach Top 5. Mister Kazakhstan Arkhat Zhabaikhanov, Mister Latvia Ivo Lesnieks, Mister Lithuania Dziugas Baltrusaitis and Mister Mongolia Tuvshin Enkh did not make it to the semi-finals.

Enkh received an award as the Best Catwalk second runner-up. The Best Catwalk award was given to Mister Japan Ryo Arizumi with Mister Mexico Fernando Kolbeckc as the first runner-up.

Like the representatives from Belarus and China, Kolbeckc made it to the semi-finals but did not advance to the finals. On the other hand, Arizumi finished second runner-up.

Mister Romania Geany-Daniel Zamfir and Mister Peru Ronald Mayorga Peixoto and were third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Mister Montenegro Marko Rogac was runner-up to Mister Ocean 2017 Ermin Poturak of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
