Cupcakes are not only for children. They are also for legendary MMA fighters like the reigning UFC Featherweight Champion Max “Blessed” Holloway.

The Hawaiian-Samoan fighter loved mentioning cupcakes before and after defeating Jose “Scarface” Aldo at “UFC 218: Holloway vs Aldo 2.” Referee Herb Dean stopped the fight at 4:15 of Round 3 while Holloway was mercilessly grounding and pounding Aldo.

Right after the fight, UFC announcer Joe Rogan talked to Holloway. The latter was holding his son Rush Holloway, 5, during the post-fight interview.

“I told you, guys, all these guys is cupcakes,” Max said of his fellow UFC featherweight fighters. “I look forward to the new flavor but any of them can get it. I like cupcakes. I’m going to eat them all, Baby.”

If Rush wants to eat cupcakes, his father is likely to allow him to have as much as he can. The reigning UFC Featherweight Champion and his wife Kaimana Pa’aluhi just need to make sure they give the kid the desserts that are not dangerous to his health.

Among the healthy cupcakes recommended by healthy dessert fanatic and “Chocolate-Covered Katie” author Katie Higgins is the low-calorie red velvet cupcake that is completely free of food coloring and recommended to vegans. She also included oil-free cupcakes filled with peppermint whipped cream in her list of recipes on Cosmopolitan.

Health coach and personal trainer Brittany Mullins also recommended oatmeal cupcakes with a crunchy coconut pecan brown sugar topping to vegans. These old-fashioned cupcakes are gluten-free.

“I wanted the recipe to be gluten-free and vegan so I used gluten-free all-purpose flour, flaxseed eggs, and Earth Balance Buttery Spread instead of butter,” Mullins wrote on Pop Sugar. “I’ve used Earth Balance products many times before and have been impressed with the taste and flavor. They make vegan baking a breeze!”

The reigning UFC Featherweight Champion can enjoy cupcakes without feeling guilty and so can you. There are a lot recipes recommended by vegans and health experts out there to make sure you take care of both your health and your palate.

Meanwhile, here is Max talking about defeating Aldo for the second time:
