On Dec. 5, Tuesday, Ovation Productions took to Facebook to announce that Katy Perry, 33, is set to perform in the Philippines in 2018. It is part of her fourth concert tour titled “Witness: The Tour,” which kicked off on Sept. 19 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
Perry will perform live at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 2, 2018. Tickets for the Manila leg of “Witness: The Tour” will go on sale on Dec. 11, Monday, according to Ovation Productions.
Before going to the Philippines, Perry will perform at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong on March 30, 2018. From Manila, she will continue the tour at the Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan on April 4, 2018, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore on April 8, 2018, at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on April 10, 2018 and at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 14, 2018.
The last leg of “Witness: The Tour” is scheduled at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on Aug. 21, 2018. The tour is in support of Perry’s fifth studio album titled “Witness.”
Released on June 9, “Witness” has 15 tracks including three collaboration songs namely “Swish Swish” featuring Nicki Minaj, “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley and “Bon Appetit” featuring Migos. Watch the making of the “Swish Swish” music video here:
