Ermin Poturak of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not only win the Mister Ocean 2017 title in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in November. He also gained new friends including Marko Markovic of Serbia.

In a statement exclusively obtained by Conan Daily, Poturak said that the Mister Ocean 2017 candidates he felt closest to were Markovic, Mister Macedonia Goran Mishoski, Mister Nigeria Ayoola Olatunde and Mister Republic of Congo Dylan Rouffet. Poturak added, “But if I had to choose one of these people, that would be my friend from Serbia for sure.”

The brotherly affection between the Mister Ocean 2017 candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia is mutual. In a separate statement released to the publication, Markovic also enumerated the candidates he felt closest to.

Poturak was the first one on Markovic’s list of newfound friends. The others were Mishoski, Olatunde, Rouffet and Mister Montenegro Marko Rogac.

It is this opportunity to form new friendships that made the Mister Ocean 2017 competition worthwhile for Markovic. He said the most memorable experience he had from the competition was getting to know new people from different countries and cultures.

On Nov. 24, Poturak became the very first Mister Ocean winner besting 48 other candidates. On the other hand, Markovic was not able to advance to the semi-finals.

But what the future has in store for Markovic has yet to be seen. This handsome man from Serbia is equipped with beautiful eyes, cheekbones and jawline that he could utilize to make a career as a model or an actor.

In the past few years, several handsome men of Serbian descent have made it to Hollywood. Among them are “War of the Planet of the Apes” actor Aleks Paunovic, “24: Live Another Day” alum Branko Tomovic and “Deadpool” star Stefan Kapicic.

They have several female counterparts, as well. The list includes Milla Jovovich, Lolita Davidovich, Bojana Novakovic, Branka Katic and Sasha Alexander.
