13 ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ actors and their other upcoming films

Released on Dec. 15, Friday, “Star Wars: Last Jedi” marks the last time the late Carrie Fisher is playing General Leia Organa, which means the 2019 installment “Star Wars: Episode” will be the first to not feature the character. Here are 13 of her co-stars and their other upcoming films:

  1. Mark Hamill

It has yet to be confirmed if Hamill is reprising his role as Luke Skywalker in “Star Wars: Episode IX.” What has been confirmed is that he is set to play Robert Minkow in “Conn Man” in 2018.

  1. Andy Serkis

It is also rumored that Serkis is reprising his role as Supreme Leader Snoke in “Star Wars: Episode IX.” He is currently filming “Flarsky” and is set to play Ulysses Klaue/Law in “Black Panther” and Baloo in “The Jungle Book.”

  1. Lupita Nyong’o

Also set to star in “Black Panther” is Nyong’o, who plays Max Kanata in “Star Wars: Last Jedi.” She is currently filming “Little Monsters” and is set to star in the 2019 reboot of “Charlie’s Angels.”

  1. Oscar Isaac

In 2019, Isaac will reprise his role as Poe Dameron in “Star Wars: Episode IX.” Prior to this, he will play Peter Malkin in “Operation Finale,” Paul Gauguin in “At Eternity’s Gate,” the biologist’s husband in “Annihilation” and a role in “Life Itself,” which has yet to be announced.

  1. Daisy Ridley

Before reprising her role as Rey in “Star Wars: Episode IX,” Ridley will play Viola Eade in “Chaos Walking.” She is also set to play Virginia Hall in “A Woman of No Importance” and the title role in “Ophelia.”

  1. Adam Driver

Driver will reprise his role as Kylo Ren/Ben Solo in “Star Wars: Episode IX.” Before that, he will star in the 2018 films “Black Klansman, “Annette,” “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” and “Tough as They Come.”

  1. John Boyega

In 2009, Boyega will reprise his role as Finn in “Star Wars: Episode IX.” Before this, he will play Jake Pentecost in “Pacific Rim Uprising” in 2018.

  1. Gwendoline Christie

After playing Captain Phasma in “Star Wars: Last Jedi,” Christie will play Lady Jane in “The Darkest Minds” and Gwen in “In Fabric.” The “Game of Thrones” actress is also currently filming “The Women of Marwen.”

  1. Domhnall Gleeson

After playing General Hux in “Star Wars: Last Jedi,” Gleeson will play at least three movie roles in 2018. These are Henry Beard in “A Futile and Stupid Gesture,” Mr. McGregor in “Peter Rabbit” and Faraday in “The Little Stranger.”

  1. Billie Lourd

After Lieutenant Connix in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” Lourd’s next film role in Rosanna in “Billionaire Boys Club.” Set to be released in 2018, the latter will also star Kevin Spacey and Taron Egerton.

  1. Laura Dern

After playing Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” Dern has at least four upcoming films. These are “JT Leroy,” “Trial By Fire,” “The Tale” and “Hard Powder.”

  1. Benicio del Toro

After playing DJ in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” Del Toro will play the Collector in “Avengers: Infinity War” and Alejandro in “Soldado.” It has been announced that he will play Jose Miguel Battle, Sr. in “The Corporation,” as well.

  1. Justin Theroux

There are three films confirmed to feature Theroux in 2018, so far. After playing Master Codebreaker in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” he will star in “On the Basis of Sex,” “Mute” and “The Spy Who Dumped Me.”
