Rajinder Singh “Knockout” Meena, 31, of Delhi, India and Ze Hao “The Ghost” Zhang, 24, of Shanghai, China will be in the Philippines on January 26, 2018. They will battle it out at “ONE: Global Superheroes” in the lightweight division.
A former SFL Lightweight Champion, Meena holds a record of 8-7 and all of his victories have come by exciting finish. With a robust grappling skill set, he owns five impressive wins by submission and three by knockout.
On the other hand, Zhang holds a record of 2-0 and is one of the top Chinese lightweight prospects. He made his promotional debut at “ONE Championship: Shanghai” on September 2, 2017, finishing compatriot Li Cheng Chao via technical knockout in the third round.
On November 3, 2017, Zhang won his second ONE Championship bout by knocking out his Indian opponent Bala Shetty at “ONE: Hero’s Dream” in Yangon, Myanmar. A proponent at the AMA Shanghai Gym, the Chinese fighter is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu and sanda practitioner.
Zhang’s fellow Chinese fighter Hao Bin “The Southern Eagle” Ma is also in the “ONE: Global Superheroes” fighter card. On the other hand, Meena is the only Indian contender in the card.
“ONE: Global Superheroes” will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Metro Manila. It will be headlined by Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, 28, of the Philippines and Kairat “The Kazakh” Akhtemov, 30, of Kazakhstan.
