Ultimate Fighting Championship athlete Doo Hoo “The Korean Superboy” Choi, 26, of Busan, South Korea and Jeremy “Li’l Heathen” Stephens, 31, of California, United States headlined “UFC Fight Night 124” at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, USA on January 14, 2018. The American mixed martial artist knocked out his Korean opponent via punches and elbows in the second round.

Losing to Stephens downgraded Choi’s professional MMA record to 14 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Stephens now has 27 wins and 14 losses.

Stephens made his professional MMA debut on January 12, 2005 and his UFC debut on May 26, 2007. Choi is the 13th UFC opponent the American MMA fighter defeated.

Choi made his UFC debut on November 22, 2014 when he defeated Juan Manuel Puig, 28, of Mexico at “UFC Fight Night 57” via technical knockout via punches in the first round. The event was headlined by Frankie “The Answer” Edgar, 36, and Cub Swanson, 34.

A year later, Choi returned into the UFC cage and defeated Sam Sicilia, 31, of Spokane, Washington, USA. The Korean fighter knocked out his American opponent via punches at 1:33 of Round 1 at “UFC Fight Night 79” on November 28, 2015.

On July 8, 2016, Choi won his third consecutive win. He knocked out Thiago Tavares, 33, of Brazil via punches in the first round at “The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale.”

It was on December 10, 2016 when Choi lost a UFC bout for the first time. Swanson defeated him at “UFC 206” via unanimous decision.

The first time Choi lost a professional MMA bout was on June 6, 2010. He lost to Yusuge Kagiyama, 34, of Japan via split decision at “Deep- Cage Impact 2010 in Osaka” after two five-minute rounds.
