After a record turnout for the UniFrance online festival in 2017 with almost 7 million views of the selected films, the best of new-generation French cinema will be available online once again January 19-February 19, 2018 worldwide.

The festival offers a selection of 10 short films and 10 feature films in competition, completed this year by 4 features and 3 shorts presented out-of-competition. All of the films are subtitled in 10 languages (French, English, German, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese and Russian).

The short films can be viewed free of charge worldwide, while the feature films have a viewing fee (€1.99 per film or €7.99 per pack), except in Africa, Latin America, India, South Korea, Poland, Romania and Russia, where the festival offers a free viewing service. As a complement to the MyFrenchFilmFestival.com platform, the festival is also present on 40 partner platforms, including iTunes (in over 90 territories), Google Play, Amazon and MUBI.

Several screenings will be organised around the world. Information about the locations and times will be updated regularly on the site.

On January 9, 2018, Isabelle Giordano and Serge Toubiana revealed in Paris, France that Italian director Paolo Sorrentino, the President of the Filmmakers’ Jury, will be accompanied by French directors Julia Ducournau and Kim Chapiron, French-Moroccan director Nabil Ayouch and Filipino director Brillante Mendoza. The Audience Award, Filmmakers’ Jury Award and International Press Award will be announced at the end of the festival.

MyFrenchFilmFestival is organised by UniFrance, the organization in charge of promoting French cinema throughout the world.
