Riski “Kong” Umar of Ternate, Indonesia was one of the winners at “ONE: Kings of Courage”, a mixed martial arts event held at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 20, 2018. It is the first ONE Championship live event in 2018.

In a rousing one-round striking affair to kick off “ONE: Kings of Courage,” Umar overcame a spirited effort from Egi Rozten of Karawang, Indonesia to win via technical knockout. Rozten came out of the gates looking to end matters early with a relentless barrage of strikes but Umar kept his composure and weathered the storm to win with ground-and-pound at the 4:20 mark of Round 1.

In the main event, Jing Nan “The Panda” Xiong of China was crowned the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion. She defeated Teo via technical knockout.

In the co-main event of the evening, Stefer Rahardian of Indonesia drew the loudest cheers from the hometown crowd. He defeated Pakistan’s Muhammad Imran via unanimous decision.

Umar was originally set to face Arnold Batubara of Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The latter was replaced by Rozten.

Rozten now has 0 win and 1 loss as an MMA fighter but as a boxer, he has 5 wins, 18 losses and 2 draws. Umar now has a professional record of 2 wins and 0 loss.
