Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Chael Sonnen headlined “Bellator 192” at The Forum, Inglewood, California on January 20, 2018. In the co-main event, Rory MacDonald challenged Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima.
“Bellator 192” started with four welterweight bouts under the preliminary card. In the first bout, Joey Davis knocked out Ian Butler via spinning back kick and punches.
Both the second and third bouts ended via unanimous decision with Jose Campos defeating Haim Gozali while Devon Brock defeating Khonry Gracie. In the fourth bout, Guilherme Vasconcelos submitted Ivan Castillo via arm-triangle choke at 4:12 of Round 1.
In the postliminary card, Isaiah Culpepper lost to Jean-Paul Le-Bosnoyani in the lightweight via armbar submission at 2:11 of Round 3. Also, Johnny Cisneros submitted Marlen Magee via rear-naked choke at 2:28 of Round 3.
Kicking off the main card, Henry Corrales defeated Georgi Karakhanyan via unanimous decision. It was followed by Aaron Pico’s win over Shane Kruchten via technical knockout via body punch at 0:37 of Round 1 in the featherweight division.
Michael Chandler defeated Goiti Yamauchi in the lightweight division via unanimous decision after three five-minute rounds. Douglas Lima lost his Bellator Welterweight Championship belt to Rory MacDonald, who won via unanimous decision after five five-minute rounds.
The final bout was between Quinton Jackson and Chael Sonnen in the Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix Tournament Quarterfinal. After three five-minute rounds, Sonnen won via unanimous decision.
