Brave Combat Federation has confirmed the rematch between mixed martial artists Tahar Hadbi and Mohammed Fakhreddine. The two will battle it out at “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises” at the Boxing Arena at King Hussien Sports City in Amman, Jordan on March 2, 2018.

The first clash between the welterweights ended up in a no-contest as Fakhreddine could not continue the bout after suffering an accidental low blow. Hadbi claimed that the low blow was a tactic implemented by Fakhreddine to shove points off from the opponents and to psychologically manipulate the game plan of his opponents, the first being Marcus Vinicius Cruz during “Brave 4: Unstoppable” in Abu Dhabi.

But according to Fakhreddine, the illegal groin shots were unintentional as he was leading during the first round. The war of words was much discussed in the MMA world.

“We understand that the bout is highly anticipated and the intensity of the rivalry itself demanded the promotion to beef up the security during the event,” Brace CF President Mohammed Shahid said. “However, we are proud that the entire region is frantically following one bout so closely. Such an enthusiasm had never occurred in the history of the sport in the Middle East.”

“Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises” will be the first event by the promotion in Jordan. The fight card features 24 fighters from 14 nations representing 18 gyms or fight teams and is the most diverse fight card ever hosted by Jordan.

Both Hadbi and Fakhreddine have previously fought in Jordan. They also both have a huge fan base to back them.
