Luis Santos vs Kiamrian Abbasov
Born in Belem, Santos made his professional MMA debut on March 10, 2000. He competed in Bellator MMA from 2011 to 2012 and made his ONE Championship debut on November 7, 2014.
Santos is a martial arts veteran with over 70 fights on his record and over half of his wins ending by devastating knockout. With a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a penchant for spectacular finishes, he has emerged as one of the promotion’s most overwhelming physical specimens, a top contender capable of finishing any bout in a variety of different ways at any given moment.
Known for his aggressiveness and brute strength, Santos looks to continue finding success inside the ONE Championship cage in his next bout against Abbasov. The Kyrgyzstani fighter is also a martial arts veteran like his “ONE: Visions of Victory” opponent.
With a professional record of 18-3, Abbasov is currently riding a 10-bout win streak and has not lost a match since 2015. Known as one of the top welterweights to emerge from Central Asia, he is a former Prime Selection GP Welterweight Champion with a handful of spectacular finishes.
Of Abbasov’s 18 career victories, 3 have come by submission and 9 by thrilling knockout. He makes his ONE Championship debut against a dangerous Brazilian fighter.
