The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), will return to Malaysia’s bustling capital city of Kuala Lumpur. On March 9, 2018, “ONE: Visions of Victory” will ignite the Axiata Stadium with another evening of authentic martial arts action.
In the main event, Filipino-American Reece “Lightning” McLaren, 26, of Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia will face Gianni Subba, 25, of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They will battle it out in three five-minute rounds in the flyweight division.

In the first match on the main card, Ahmed “Wolverine” Mujtaba, 25, of Quetta, Pakistan will compete against Ma Jia Wen, 21, from Tianjin, China. They will battle it out in three five-minute rounds in the catchweight division.
Mujtaba owns an impressive professional record of 8 wins and 1 loss. Almost all of his wins came by spectacular finish.
A former UGB MMA Featherweight Champion, Mujtaba is known for his tremendous grappling technique, which has led to 4submissions out of 8total victories. He makes his highly-anticipated return to the ONE Championship cage against a Chinese opponent.
On the other hand, Ma is a freestyle wrestling standout with a 4-2 record. He is part of a rapid rising contingent of talented Chinese fighters who have shown great promise in combining the various aspects of striking and grappling.
In Ma’s last outing, he notched a second-round stoppage win Indonesia’s Yohan Mulia “The Iceman” Legowo, 37, marking the Chinese fighter’s second-straight technical knockout victory. Ma has another tall order in front of him in his next bout, as he goes head-to-head with a top talent like Mujtaba.
