On November 7, 2014, Santos made his ONE Championship debut at “ONE: Battle of Lions” where he submitted Bakhtiyar Abbasov via punches. On April 24, 2015, Santos’s bout with Ben Askren ended in No Contest due to eye poke.
On February 20, 2016, Santos won his second ONE Championship bout. He knocked out Rafael Silva via knee and soccer kicks at “ONE: Tribe of Warriors”.
The third time Santos won a ONE Championship bout was on August 27, 2016. He defeated Igor Svirid via unanimous decision at “ONE: Titles and Titans”.
On May 26, 2017, Santos has his first ONE Championship loss. He was knocked out by Zebaztian Kadestam via knees at “ONE: Dynasty of Heroes”.
On March 9, 2018, Santos earned his 64th professional MMA win, which is also his fourth win under the ONE Championship banner. He defeated Kiamrian Abbasov of Kyrgyzstan via unanimous decision at “ONE: Visions of Victory” at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After losing to Santos, Abbasov now has 18 wins and 4 losses. “ONE: Visions of Victory” marked his ONE Championship debut.
