Out of Christian’s 10 ONE Championship bouts, the only time he lost was on August 13, 2016 when he was submitted by Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen via guillotine choke at “ONE: Heroes of the World.” A year later, Nguyen became the reigning ONE Featherweight and Lightweight World Champion and the promotion’s first ever two-division champion.

On March 18, 2016, Christian knocked out Anthony Engelen at “ONE: Union of Warriors” via punches and elbows. On May 6, 2016, the former submitted Cary Bullos via brabo choke at “ONE: Ascent to Power.”
On May 27, 2016, Christian won via technical knockout again at “ONE: Kingdom of Champions,” where he defeated the late Rocky Batolbatol. It was the last time Christian left the cage as an undefeated fighter.
After losing to Nguyen, Christian enjoyed a redemptive win at “ONE: Kings of Destiny” where he knocked out Jianping Wan via punches. It was followed by another win by Christian at “ONE: Quest for Greatness” where he submitted Keanu Subba via armbar on August 18, 2017 and at “ONE: Warriors of the World” where he knocked out Koketsu Boku via punches on December 9, 2017.
On March 9, 2018, Christian faced another Japanese opponent. The Singaporean MMA fighter submitted Kazunori Yokota of Chiba, Japan via guillotine choke at “ONE: Visions of Victory”.
From start to finish, Christian overwhelmed Yokota. The Singaporean MMA fighter kept his Japanese opponent on the defensive with his striking before taking matters to the ground.
On the mat, Christian continued to dominate, easily transitioning to full mount while punishing Yokota with hard blows. In the second round, the former sunk in a guillotine choke, leaving the latter with no other option but to tap.
