The last time Ankalaev fought in the cage was on October 4, 2017. He knocked out Celso Ricardo “Lorinho” da Silva, 31, of Brazil via punches at “WFCA 43: Grozny Battle” in Grozny, Chechnya, Russia.
On the other hand, Craig currently holds a record of 9 wins and 2 losses. He made his UFC debut on December 17, 2016 at “UFC on Fox: VanZant vs. Waterson” at Golder 1 Center in Sacramento, California, United States.
At “UFC on Fox: VanZant vs. Waterson,” Craig submitted Henrique “Frankenstein” da Silva, 28, of Brazil via armbar. After this, the fighter from Scotland lost to his next two UFC opponents, namely Tyson Pedro, 26, of Australia and Khalil “The War Horse” Rountree, 28, of the U.S.
Pedro knocked out Craig via elbows at “UFC 209: Woodley vs. Thompson 2” at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 4, 2017. On July 16, 2017, Rountree knocked out Craig via punches at “UFC Fight Night 113” at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.
