Rebel Fighting Championship (Rebel FC) will hold its 10th event “Rebel FC 7: Fight for Honour” at the Kerry Hotel in Shanghai, China on April 29, 2018. This is the second time the Singapore-based promotion is holding an event in Shanghai, after the promotion’s eighth event “Rebel FC 5: Quest for Glory” on August 12, 2017.

In one of the bouts on the main card, Mehmosh “The Renegade” Raza, 22, of Islamabad, Pakistan will take on Igor Grytskiv, 37, of Lviv, Ukraine. The two will compete in the featherweight division.

Raza’s most recent bout took place on January 27, 2018. At “Prime Sports: Victory Fight Night 3,” the Islamabad native defeated Amanullah “Rehman Ullah” Khan of Afghanistan for the VFN Featherweight Championship belt at Victory Fight Night-3 in Lahore, Pakistan.

With a professional record of 6 wins and 1 loss, Raza is one of the top mixed martial arts fighters of Pakistan today.  On the other hand, Grytskiv currently has 7 wins and 2 losses and has more fighting experience than Raza.

Grytskiv will make his Rebel FC debut at “Rebel FC 7: Fight for Honour,” which will mark Raza’s second bout under the promotion. Raza made his successful promotional debut on September 2, 2017 at “Rebel FC 6: China vs the World” in Shenzhen, China by submitting Sima Yi of China via rear-naked choke.

“Mehmosh is having the toughest fight of his career but he has a heart of lion and he improved a lot,” Prime Sports Management Director Muhammad Rizwan Ali said. Ali is the manager of Raza and other Pakistani MMA fighters including ONE Championship fighters Waqar Umar, 27, and Ahmed “Wolverine” Mujtaba, 25.

“He is going to knock out Igor in the first round,” Ali said of Raza. “We are not taking this fight to the judges’ hands.”

“Rebel FC 7: Fight For Honour” will be headlined by Rebel FC Bantamweight Champion Jumayi Ayideng of China and his challenger Shuhei Sakano, 22, of Japan. In the co-main event, Kazumasa Majima, 26, of Japan will challenge Rebel FC Featherweight Champion Rodolfo “The Nightmare” Marques Diniz, 34, of Brazil.
