Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 continues search for talented young ballers nationwide

2016 Jr. NBA All-Star and Alaska Ambassador Julian Alfonso Jugo facilitated drills at various skills stations of the Jr. NBA Regional Selection Camp. He assisted Jr. NBA coaches, who were led by Coach Carlos Barroca.

More than 1,100 young ballers aged 10-14 from the North Luzon region traveled to Benguet State University in La Trinidad, Benguet for the third Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 selection camp. On March 17-18, 2018, they will showcase their skills to secure a slot in the National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 presented by Alaska from May 18-20, 2018.

Jugo shared his valuable experience with the Jr. NBA aspirants. He inspired the campers to excel on and off the court.

In 2016, Jugo was one of the 10 players selected in the Jr. NBA Philippines All-Star team.  The other eight were Kai Zachary Sotto, Miguel Rey Tan, Isaiah Blanco, Fritz Valencia, Harold Alarcon, Ric Gatuz, Anrei Leonchito, Tracy Carl Dadang and Jearico Nunez.

The most outstanding eight boys and eight girls from the Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 National Training Camp will be selected as Jr. NBA All-Stars. The fourth and final Regional Selection Camp will be staged on April 21-22, 2018 at Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati, Metro Manila.
