March 19, 2018, Bangkok Thailand: Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai, 29, is one of the numerous combatants who make their marks by having arousing and amusing matches that uniquely showcase a breathtaking display in the constantly growing world of mixed martial arts. He is undoubtedly one of the most colorful sports personalities in his country as he has become a fan favorite with his thrilling martial arts style and entertaining walkouts.

A native of Bangkok, Thailand, Wiratchai draws from many different forms of stand-up combat styles as his introduction to martial arts came through the Chinese discipline of Kung Fu. However, one that allowed him to see martial arts in a different light was when he added boxing and Muay Thai to his skillset, along with his critical approach to absorbing the techniques that were useful to him from each discipline.

Holding a professional record of 8 wins, 2 losses and 1 No Contest, Wiratchai is a true martial artist who splits his time between Bangkok Fight Lab and Tiger Muay Thai & MMA. He has created his own striking style branded as the OneShin Striking System that is based on attacking opponents who leave themselves vulnerable.

OneShin Striking System includes the basics of the striking disciplines Wiratchai has learned. Before progressing to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling and boxing, he started in judo and kung fu.

An offensive innovator, Wiratchai adores being creative with his striking, employing a myriad of unpredictable off-angle elbows and kicks. He has scored four knockouts in his last seven professional outings, including the scintillating finishes of notable names such as Peter Davis and Mitch Chilson.

On March 24, 2018, Wiratchai will face Singapore-based Indian newcomer Rahul Raju at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand at “ONE: Iron Will,” which will be headlined by two ONE Championship champions, Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes of Brazil and Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen of Vietnam.
