March 19, 2018/ Bangkok, Thailand: A native of Bangkok, Thailand, Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai, 29, has become a staple in sensational and memorable battles inside the ONE Championship cage. In his most recent bout, he had his second loss in his career as a professional mixed martial artist.

“ONE Championship always offers me a suitable and exciting opponent,” Wiratchai said. “I always want to show that I’m the better one in every match-up they make.”

On December 9, 2017, Wiratchai lost to Rasul Yakhyaev via unanimous decision at “ONE: Warriors of the World” at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. In the same venue, Wiratchai is returning to the ONE Championship cage facing Singapore-based Indian newcomer Rahul Raju at “ONE: Iron Will” on March 24, 2018.

“Every fight is a challenge,” Wiratchai stated. “It is another step to my dream to be one of the best in the world.”

While Wiratchai was not able to give his countrymen a sweet victory in his last bout in Bangkok, for him, competing in front of his hometown fans is always a great pleasure. He guaranteed, “I have been working very hard to get back on the winning track. I will showcase my best skills in this bout and take home the win for Thailand.”

With a record of 8 wins, 2 losses and 1 No Contest, Wiratchai vowed that he will not shy away from his electrifying cage demeanor in his three-round lightweight meeting against Raju. The Thai fighter said, “Surely, there will be fireworks. Bangkok, be ready. I am bringing the action right to you.”

“ONE: Iron Will” will be headlined by two ONE Championship champions, Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes of Brazil and Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen of Vietnam. Here is the trailer:
