On March 24, 2018, “ONE: Iron Will” shook the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand with the historic superfight between ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes of Brazil and ONE Featherweight and Lightweight World Champion Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen of Vietnam and Australia. It was the fifth event of ONE Championship in 2018.

In the sixth bout on the main card, Muay Thai legend Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke of Thailand competed against Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado of the Philippines in the strawweight division. It was the last bout on the undercard.

The strawweight bout between Amnuaysirichoke and Miado ended at 1:29 of Round 1. The Thai fighter was knocked out by his Filipino opponent via punches.

Miado was an undefeated fighter with 6 wins when he made his ONE Championship in 2017 but in the same year under the promotion, he had his first two losses in his career. He lost to Robin Catalan  at “ONE: Kings of Destiny” on April 21, 2017 in the Philippines.

When Miado returned to the ONE Championship cage on November 3, 2017 at “ONE: Hero’s Dream,” he lost to Pongsiri Mitsatit. But at “ONE: Iron Will,” Miado won via a first-round knockout earning his first win in the promotion.

After defeating Amnuaysirichoke, Miado now has 7 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, the Thai fighter’s record downgraded to 8 wins and 4 losses.

From 2014 to 2015, Amnuaysirichoke built a record as an undefeated fighter with 6 wins after defeating Jomanz Omanz, Ali Yaakub, Saiful Merican, Rene Catalan, Roy Doliguez and Yago Bryan. But on May 27, 2016, as the reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion, Amnuaysirichoke was dethroned as he had his first loss when he was submitted by Yoshitaka Naito via rear-naked choke at “ONE: Kingdom of Champions.”

After Naito, Joshua Pacio also defeated Amnuaysirichoke at “ONE: Warrior Kingdom.” It was via split decision.

On May 26, 2017, Amnuaysirichoke returned to the cage stronger and emerged victorious at “ONE: Dynasty of Heroes” where he knocked out Adrian Mattheis via punch. This was followed by another victory for Amnuaysirichoke when he knocked out Robin Catalan at “ONE: Quest for Greatness” on August 18, 2017.

On December 9, 2017, Amnuaysirichoke had his third loss inside the ONE Championship cage as he was submitted by Riku Shibuya via guillotine choke at “ONE: Warriors of the World.” Watch a clip featuring the Muay Thai legend here:
