Brave Combat Federation has announced the fight card for its 11th event, which will take place at the Mineirao Stadium Terrace in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on April 13, 2018. The event marks the third event of the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion hosted in Brazil.
On March 28, 2017, “Brave 3: Battle in Brazil” took place at the Max Rosenmann Arena in São José dos Pinhais, Curitiba, Brazil. It was the first Brave CF event to take place in the country.
On August 12, 2017, Brave CF returned to Brazil for “Brave 8: The Rise of Champions.” It took place at the Almir Nelson de Almeida (Taruma) Gymnasium in Curitaba.
“Brave 11” features an Interim Championship title fight in the lightweight division of the promotion. In the main event, 2016 Brazilian Fighter of the Year Luan “”Miau” Santiago, 23, will face former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) prospect Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, 29.
The fight card also features the promotion’s very first women’s strawweight bout in Brazil where Luana Pinheiro will fight Elaine Leal. A Brazilian and South-American champion in judo, Pinheiro hopes to emulate her success with the gi inside the Brave cage.
